Matthew Luce on our Annual A.B.A.T.E Toy Run

TEST will enhance a program that’s already a cherished tradition among TriMet employees:

The annual Shriners/ A.B.A.T.E. toy run, when one special TriMet bus and dozens and dozens of motorcycles laden with gifts ascend Marquam Hill to the delight of young patients in Shriners Hospital for Children. TriMet drivers have always featured among the bikers on the run, now this years 2019 run will be on Saturday, December 7. Bikes will be gathering at Fred Meyers Corporate Parking Lot about 10:00 am and leaving for Shriners Hospital at 12:15pm. If you are planning to bring a gift please look over the items that are needed below, please no stuffed animals. For more information go to www.ABATEToyRun.com.

Proof once again that Michael Luce and his son Matthew made it to the top of Pill Hill on his RoadKing HD, with bags loaded with toys on the annual A.B.A.T.E Shriners Hospital Toy Run. Not only was it cold but the icy roads were a little challenging.

Shriners Hospitals For Children—Portland Lynda Luce—Donations Coordinator—971-544-3338

As the annual A.B.A.T.E. Toy Run approaches we are very excited to welcome all the bikers, and of course Santa, to our hospital. This run is always fun for our patients, volunteers and staff; we look forward to it every year. Shriners Hospitals for Children-Portland continues to make the safety of our patients our number one priority. A toy list has been provided for those who need a little assistance in selecting a gift for our patients. Although the hospital currently has a no stuffed toys policy in place, we will be accepting all of the generous gifts (including stuffed toys) on the day of the toy run. We appreciate all the time and efforts of those that participate in the toy run!
